Jennell Gerhing is recognized for her artistic and technical talents with cutting edge and classic hairstyling techniques. Living in Hawaii and in the tropical climate, she was inspired to polish her skills of taming frizzy, unmanageable hair due to humid environments. She has spent over ten years perfecting her passion of transforming any hair texture into beautiful, shiny hair. Jennell earned her credentials at the Paul Mitchell Hair Academy in San Francisco, a global destination for hairstyling innovation. She then completed an apprenticeship at Ecotique Aveda Salon in Del Mar, California under the Tony and Guy method. She rose to the Master Stylist level at Collections Salon and Day Spa now known as Carlton Salon and Day Spa in Fashion Valley, San Diego, where she worked with talented stylists, educators, and platform artists for seven years. She is Vidal Sassoon-trained in Creative Cuts and Color. Currently residing at Harlow Hair Salon in San Diego's fashionable La Jolla district and working with clients for bridal and private events, Jennell has built a loyal clientele. She is also active in the fashion and philanthropy community, styling fashion shows and charity events for Locks of Love and Saint Madeleine's Sofie Center. Both creative and passionate, Jennell has an eye for color and dimension, she is dedicated to designing a total make over look for her clients' needs. She continually seeks to improve her professional and technical skills by taking ongoing educational courses and training.
