Platinum Party Rents was founded by Gary Zendell in 2005. After planning his own wedding in just four hours with a $7000 budget, he just “didn’t see what all the fuss was over.” During their reception, his wife announced what he had done, and everybody agreed that Gary had a talent for creating a beautiful, casually-elegant, atmosphere with a moderate budget. After reviewing the marketplace for San Diego Party Rental vendors, Platinum Party Rents began with an inventory consisting of just 10 market umbrellas being stored in a 6x8 closet. Just four years later, after moving 3 times, they now reside in a 4200 square foot facility with over $300,000 worth of inventory and a beautiful, comfortable showroom to display it all and conduct consultations. PPR is located near the I-5 freeway at Balboa Avenue, ½ mile north of Costco. Since our location is so close to the most popular wedding and event destinations, we are able to offer very prompt delivery service at extremely competitive prices. Many of our high-volume customers say that it’s also “just good to know that if there is a problem, then you guys can be here in a matter of minutes.”
