Bruce Stephens I was raised in the Congregationalist Church, but have gone on to study many different traditions both eastern and western. A life long love of ritual and poetry and a history of public speaking has lead me to embrace the privilege of wedding officiant. Since 1993 I have served in this capacity for dozens of couples in the San Diego and Los Angeles areas. It has been a great joy to work closely with couples, helping them to design a personalized wedding ceremony that speaks to their feelings and truths about marriage. I have officiated at many interfaith marriages, and have blended different traditions. I meet with couples and provide them with a "Wedding Ceremony Guide" that helps them construct a ceremony from parts therein or from material they have sourced. We follow this process through successive drafts until we have a ceremony that is a perfect fit. I take great pride in helping couples with unique and individualized ceremonies and guiding them through the wedding process.
