Lan’s fascination for makeup and hair began when she was inspired by the talented Tina Nguyen, her wedding makeup & hair artist. Lan got married in 2004 and since then, her journey began. She first took private lessons with Tina and was so happy to finally discover her artistic side that she didn’t know existed. She then endlessly pursued opportunities to perfect her skills by doing makeup and hair for dance groups and fashion shows. After that, she attended Bellus Academy for their Makeup Artistry Program, which utilized the Makeup Designory (MUD) curriculum from the famous MUD school in Burbank, CA. She also took private lessons with a Vietnamese celebrity hair artist, Danny Dzung, in Orange County to complete her training. Lan loves what she does and wants to continue improving her techniques to better serve her clients. Lan’s focus is not only on the flawless look itself, but also on the lasting power of the makeup. That’s why she uses the airbrush technique to apply foundation. She is always on the hunt for great techniques and products to help her clients’ makeup stay put all day. Working with so many brides over the years and with her own experience from her wedding, she knows how stressful it is to plan a wedding. She always tries her best to do her part so that the bride will have one less thing to worry about. She is a professional!!!
