I'm a licensed cosmetologist working freelance as a hair stylist and makeup artist. I have been doing hair and makeup for as long as I can remember and love every minute of it! * I graduated from The Temple Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School in Frederick, MD in 2006. * I hold active cosmetology licenses in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and California * I worked behind the chair in the DC metro area and then in the Philadelphia main line from 2006 - 2008. * I've received training from Paul Mitchell, Goldwell, Redken, Phyto, Kerastase, Bumble & Bumble, MAC, TIGI, and others. * In January 2009 I moved to Southern California with my husband and began pursuing a freelance career. * I have enjoyed diversifying my portfolio by working with photographers, models, brides and other clients on various types of photo shoots and events. * In 2010, I began working with photographer Jennie Brown as her stylist and makeup artist in her new photography studio in San Diego. She specializes in boudoir photography and has an amazing studio and great eye for photography! I offer a variety of services... * haircuts, color, body waves and chemical straighteners * styling and makeup for special events, weddings, and photo shoots * I work out of my in-home studio or can travel to you for your event. I love making people look and feel great and am flexible in order to make that happen!
